Tim’s Stray Dog Cantina is my breakfast go to when it comes to the best places to eat in Taos. Located in Taos Ski Valley, Tim’s is always our first stop on the morning after arrival. If you go in the summer, you’ll have to wait until brunch hours, but it’s worth it!

Everything on the menu is great, but don’t leave without trying the Green Chile Soup with brisket, and the Huevos Rancheros made with blue corn tortillas.

Check out their margarita and great beer selection. There’s also a full bar, so chill, eat and hang at this perfect Taos vibe cantina.
