Taos isn’t huge, so you don’t need to worry too much about whether you’re north or south of town. You can easily get across town in about 15 minutes if you know the back roads. And if you’d like to stay out on the mesa in an earthship, you can quickly make it around town and south to Ranchos de Taos by taking Blueberry Hill Rd (20 minutes).
